Type 1 diabetes is usually an insulin depletion. In the presentation itself, most patients do not have insulin in their body. Most of the time, type 1 diabetes occurs at a very similar age, as in the case of 3 or 4 years of age. The child will present a lot of discomfort, weight loss, Chid is not eating anymore, urinating more and the child will have many frequent infections. This is a moment in which the education of the parents of the patients receives help, most of the times the type 1 diabetes appears at a very early age, at 5 or 8 or 10 years, most of the time presents type 1 diabetes. But as early as in 4 years or 5 years type 1 diabetes can present with a full manifestation of diabetes, type 1 diabetes is a complete depletion of insulin reserves in the body, there is no reserve of insulin at the onset of type 1 diabetes. So the age of presentation would be infantile or adolescent.
