Dr. Joseph R. Kraft developed and validated the definitive (and earliest) test for diabetes in the 1970s. His personal research and exceptional experience as a lifelong pathologist allowed him to relate the vast majority of heart diseases modern with undiagnosed diabetes. Kraft turned 95 in August 2015, just after I and Dr. Jeffry Gerber did this interview. His legacy should be huge, but until now it has not been recognized.
