Is vitamin zero water good or bad for diabetes?
Download the diabetes management book:
Hi, I'm Ty Mason from TheDiabetesCouncil.com, researcher, writer and I have type 2 diabetes. Today I will answer the question, is vitamin zero water good for diabetes? But before you start with that, be sure to download my free book for diabetes control, which also includes a food guide for diabetes (food to eat and avoid).
Vitamin water sounds very interesting, right? And the zero water vitamin sounds even more interesting. I knew from the name that it was a product of Coca Cola Bottling, they have a monopoly on all the names "zero". So I went to their website to see what I could find out about this product.
The first words, for some reason, that caught my attention were "reverse osmosis water". Now, I studied chemistry and I know what osmosis is, it is basically where molecules will pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated one in the hope of reaching equilibrium. So, what is reverse osmosis? Is Coca Cola trying to reach a state of imbalance?
But there is no explanation on your website, even in the FAQ segment, and that has to be a frequent question, is not it?
Then, I searched and discovered that "Reverse osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids (like salts) are removed from a solution (like water) by forcing water through a semipermeable membrane.
Basically, I took all that time to tell them that the water of the vitamin is filtered. But the filtered water does not sound so cold, right?
Zero water vitamin comes in 8 flavors, contains no calories or carbohydrates. The "vitamin" part comes in the form of A, B6, C and E and some minerals. Coca Cola points out on its website that this product is made with GMOs, so if it is not in those, this product may not be for you.
Is vitamin zero water good for diabetes? It is not bad for diabetes. It seems a healthy alternative to sugary drinks. But I think $ 40 for a pack of 24 bottles is a bit expensive. You may want to get bottled water and a bottle of multivitamins and save yourself some money.
I hope that this answer to your question is good or bad water vitamin zero for diabetes. Do not forget to get your diabetes control book.
