A sticky situation

The inevitable truth is that being diabetic requires you to have lancets, test strips and, possibly, needles. These items should be disposed of properly and not just thrown away by a whim. Ensures that the injury is minimized.

After talking with my nurse, she suggested that I discard my used supplies in a jug of half-gallon milk in the office and have the office dispose of them through a biohazard company. As with all things, take responsibility for yourself.

Check with your local health department, health care provider or local government offices to find out how to properly dispose of used supplies. Being responsible guarantees to benefit not only yourself, but also others. Share this video and make sure you give me a like and a thumbs up
